On Land
A team skirmish game using replica guns that fire small plastic pellets, played on woodland or urban sites. Airsoft is similar to paintball, but the pellets are lighter and you call your own hits. You play in teams, with missions such as capturing a flag or defending a base.
You will be given a safety briefing and face protection before each game. Many paintball sites run airsoft days, so ask what is on offer.
Teenagers and adults who enjoy tactics and team games. Providers set minimum ages and supply eye protection.
All year. Games run in most weather, so wear clothes you do not mind getting muddy.
