How far ahead should you book an adventure day? A good rule is four to eight weeks for small groups and three months for larger or corporate groups.
Popular dates go first. These are rough guides, so always check with the provider.
Small private groups
Four to eight weeks is usually enough. Weekends in summer fill fastest, so book earlier for those.
Corporate groups
Start asking three months ahead for bigger groups. Providers need time to arrange staff and kit, and you may need approval inside your company.
School holidays and bank holidays
Book as early as you can. Many providers sell out of these dates.
Weekdays and winter
These are often easier to get, and sometimes cheaper.
Weather dependent activities
Activities such as ballooning can be moved if the weather is poor. Ask how rebooking works before you pay.
