In the Air

Skydiving

Jump from a plane, with a tandem instructor or on a trained first jump course. Most first jumps are tandem. You are strapped to an instructor who handles the parachute and the landing, and you enjoy the fall.

Expect a short safety briefing, a climb to height in a small plane, about a minute of free fall, then a quieter ride under the canopy. Allow a half day, as weather delays are common.
