In the Air
Fly across a valley or treetops on a cable, held in a harness. A zip line is a steel cable that runs downhill between platforms. You clip on, step off and slide to the other end.
Some sites have a single short line and some have a full course with several lines, bridges and climbs. You get a briefing, a helmet and a harness, and staff clip you on at every stage.

Families, friends and groups. Most sites set a minimum age and weight, and no experience is needed.
Spring to autumn. Many sites open all year, so check before you travel.
£20 to £50 per person
