On the Water
Stand on a large board and paddle across calm water. You stand or kneel on a wide, floating board and move with a long paddle. Lakes, canals and sheltered bays are best for a first go.
Most sessions start with a short lesson on land. You will probably fall in at least once, which is part of the fun. Some venues offer yoga or group races on boards.
Almost everyone. It is a gentle way to try water sports, and children can join in when accompanied.
